Public Hearing Announced for October Bus Route Changes

Morgantown, WV- The Mountain Line Transit Authority will hold a Public Hearing to present proposed modifications to its Green Line, Blue Line, Scott Avenue and Grafton-Fairmont Road bus routes.  These changes will affect service to the new Grafton Road Wal-Mart, Mountaineer Mall, Scott Avenue and Mississippi Street areas.  The Public Hearing will be held on October 5, 2006, 1:00 p.m., at the Authority’s Westover facility.  Passengers wishing to attend this public hearing can ride the 12:30 p.m. Orange Line from the Garrett Street depot and arrive in time to attend the hearing.

Proposed schedules can be found on Mountain Line’s web site at www.busride.org.  A final determination on proposed changes will be made at the Authority’s October 11, 2006 Board Meeting and new route timings are planned to begin October 18, 2006, pending public input regarding the proposed changes.
