The Mountain Line
Transit Authority is pleased to announce a new service initiative in
conjunction with a private partner.
Mountain Line is teaming with the Village at Heritage Point to provide
new transportation opportunities for local residents. This new service referred to as the
Shop-n-Hop Route provides local residents with transportation to various, local
shopping venues. The Village at Heritage
Point is partially subsidizing this service to make this transportation more
affordable. The service is available to
residents of the Village as well as the public at large. Other specific and targeted points of origin
for these new trips include Chestnut Hill Apartments and Unity House
Apartments.
The Shop-n-Hop service
began on Tuesday March 2. Mountain Line
is offering trips on Tuesdays and Thursdays that originate at the Village at
Heritage Point. All trips are open to
the public and the cost is $1.50 each way.
