Mountain Line Transit to Explore 1-79 Service

 

MORGANTOWN, WV – The Mountain Line Transit Authority is asking for the current and potential riders to express their opinions.  The Authority is exploring the possibility of new service, using tour-bus style coaches, for one daily trip from Morgantown to Charleston and back.  The proposed I-79 Express service would offer runs 6 days per week (no service on Saturday) and may include potential stops at Exit 139 (Prickett’s Fort), the FBI Center, Bridgeport Hill including the Anmoore Exit, Weston Exit, Flatwoods, the WV State Capital Complex, Charleston Towne Center, Charleston Greyhound and Yeager Field.  Prices for the service would range from $3.00 to $15.00 one-way, depending on the length of the trip.  Although not finalized, the tentative schedule for this service is planned as follows:
