BUS ROUTE CHANGES FOR 2012/2013
Morgantown, WV-
Mountain Line Transit Authority is announcing service reductions and elimination of services beginning July 1, 2012. These service changes are a result of reduced federal and local funding and increasing fuel prices. Details of the changes are as follows:
Orange Line (Route 4)
– Elimination of evening service
Brown Line (Route 10)
– Elimination of service
Red Line (Route 10)
– Elimination of two runs at 11:40 AM and 1:00 PM
Funding reductions and high fuel prices require the Authority to reduce more than $300,000 in services to establish a balanced budget for fiscal year 2012/2013. We encourage passengers impacted by these changes to contact the Authority to explore alternatives as soon as possible so disruption to individual transportation needs can be addressed in advance of these changes.
For information on all Mountain Line bus routes and schedules, riders can call 304-291-RIDE (7433) during normal hours of operation or visit www.busride.org. You can also follow Mountain Line on Facebook and Twitter.
### Thank you.
