Route 50 Don Knotts Service Change

Mountain Line has been asked by private property owners on Scott Avenue to turn elsewhere and no longer use their property as a turnaround point.

Consequently the only available turnaround point on Scott Avenue is at Hazel’s House of Hope on Ramada Inn Drive. Route 50 Don Knotts will turn right onto Ramada Inn Drive, turn around at Hazel’s House of Hope then will turn left back onto Scott Avenue.  This proposed turnaround was determined to be the only option available and will eliminate service to Scott Avenue beyond Ramada Inn Drive.

We anticipate this change in service to begin on Sunday October 2, 2022. Mountain Line encourages anyone whose will be impacted by this service change to contact our Mobility Coordinator at 304-296-3680 as soon as possible.
