Social Service Programs

Mountain Line Transit is providing access to two new programs aimed at supporting individuals in need within the community.

The first program is the Community Access Pass, this program provides the initial trip to a person seeking food, shelter, clothing and other essentials provided by our Social Service Agencies.  The City of Morgantown is currently purchasing these passes to distribute through their personnel and at key locations in the Downtown Morgantown Area.  These passes are available to any local municipality who would like to help their residents and visitors access the many social services in our community.

The second part of this program provides bridge funding for 501c3 Social Service Agency's to order passes.  This pilot program is funded by Monongalia County Commission.  This funding has been set aside for social service agencies who do not already have funding for transportation through other means.  The Social Service agencies can order single ride, 15 ride or 30 day passes and the value will be deducted from the stored funds.  Agencies must provide pass use data in order or continue receiving passes through this program.  Agencies can order passes by filling out the form on this page.  Pass use data will be collected here.  Mountain Line has many great programs available to the residents and visitors of our community, see if your client qualifies for any of our other programs.
