Mountain Line CAC Recognizes Rider of the Month
The Mountain Line Transit Authority Citizen Advisory Committee is pleased to announce an extraordinary passenger who has gone above and beyond the call of courtesy while riding with Mountain Line. Mae Huffman is a frequent rider of Route 8 Tyrone. Mae is always willing to help other riders either with boarding or to help them plan their trip. The Mountain Line CAC is pleased to recognize Mae Huffman as Rider of the Month for March. Mae will receive a 30 day pass as well as Mountain Line promotional prizes and will be presented with a certificate of appreciation.
Mountain Line Citizens Advisory Committee is open to the public, serves to foster a meaningful public and user input to Mountain Line Administration and Mountain Line Board of Directors in the planning and monitoring of Mountain Line services as they relate to service transportation needs. The CAC meets every other month on the third Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the Westover Offices. The next CAC meeting will be Wednesday March 15th at 1:00 pm, all are encouraged to attend.

After evaluation of 59 drivers in 10 performance categories, the Authority is pleased to recognize Ron McCourt as Driver of the Month for February, 2025. We also wish to recognize Tom Jones, John Porter, Craig Wilfong, and Timothy Long . All of these employees are being recognized for their demonstrated driving skills, safety, public relations, assistance to fellow drivers and maintaining route schedules in the course of their daily performance.
