Public Hearing
Route 8 Brookhaven Service Change
Morgantown, WV-
Mountain Line will be holding a public hearing concerning a possible service change to Rt 8 Brookhaven on Thursday December 27 at 1:00 pm at the Westover Administration Building.
Mountain Line has been asked by the property owner of Westbrook Heights to no longer service their property. This change will also eliminate the turnaround point for this route. The proposed new turnaround point is past the Fire Department on Brookhaven Road. The Brookhaven route will turn right after the Brookhaven Volunteer Fire Department onto Buckhannon Ave, right onto Burbridge St, right onto Baker St and back to Brookhaven Road.
This proposed turnaround was determined to be the best and only other option but will eliminate Brookhaven service beyond Buckhannon Road.
We anticipate this change in service to begin on Wednesday January 2, 2019. Mountain Line encourages anyone whose service this will affect to attend the public hearing on Thursday December 27 at 1:00 pm.
