WVU Reduces Transit Services
Morgantown, WV-
Mountain Line Transit Authority is announcing service reductions effective at the beginning of the August 2014 WVU Fall Semester. These service changes are a result of funding and service reductions requested by West Virginia University (WVU). WVU has requested elimination of the Blue & Gold Tripper eliminating 1,320 hours of service per year as well as elimination of the Campus PM 3 bus service eliminating an additional 901.25 hours of service per year. Additional changes are being made to Blue & Gold Saturday and Sunday bus services. A Public Hearing on these proposed changes will be held during the July 9 Mountain Line Board Meeting. The Hearing will begin at approximately 6:00 PM at the 420 DuPont facility and is open to the public.
