ROUTE 47 NORTHERN CIRCULATOR
WESTERN AVENUE ROUTE ADJUSTMENT
Morgantown, WV- The City of Morgantown is requesting a minor adjustment to service on the Northern Circulator. This change is due to a Healthy Streets Initiative to provide safe recreational access on Western Avenue and Lawnview Drive. The proposed route will travel from Fairfield St to Junior to Aspen to Collins Ferry. The route will no longer service Western Ave or Lawnview Drive.
At this time Mountain Line is asking for your feedback on this proposed change, a survey is available at busride.org. A public hearing will be held during the October Board Meeting on Wednesday October 14 prior to the Board voting on the issue.

After evaluation of 59 drivers in 10 performance categories, the Authority is pleased to recognize Ron McCourt as Driver of the Month for February, 2025. We also wish to recognize Tom Jones, John Porter, Craig Wilfong, and Timothy Long . All of these employees are being recognized for their demonstrated driving skills, safety, public relations, assistance to fellow drivers and maintaining route schedules in the course of their daily performance.
