Gold Line Service Options Survey Available
Morgantown, WV-
Officials of the Mountain Valley Apartment Complex recently announced discontinuation of their service contract with Mountain Line Transit Authority. Loss of this $109,000 dollar contract for services will require the Authority to reconfigure services to the VanVoorhis, North Hills, and Mon General Hospital areas. The Authority has posted a survey on their web site asking riders to rank their preferences among possible alternatives. A Public Hearing to consider service reduction alternatives and comments will be held at the July 11, 2012 regular Board Meeting. Changes are expected to begin Monday July 16.
Gold Line riders and other interested parties are strongly encouraged to participate in the selection survey at www.busride.org. Due to the short time-frame available prior to service reductions, the only Public Hearing on this matter will take place at the July 11, 2012 Board Meeting which will be held at 6:00 pm at the Westover Maintenance and Administrative facility, located at 420 DuPont Road. For questions or information, call (304) 291-7433.
### End Release. Thank you.
