Mountain Line Service Reinstated

 

Morgantown, WV- Mountain Line Transit Authority is announcing service changes beginning Tuesday July 5, 2016. These changes are to reinstate service that was lost in January due to the county funding cuts.   

            Routes affected will include Cassville, Purple Line, Blue Line, Grafton Road, Mountain Heights, Crown and the Red Line. 

            Saturday service will resume on Blue Line, Grafton Road, Mountain Heights, and Crown. Two trips at 11:40 am and 1:00 pm will return on the Red Line and the Cassville 30 minute service will return. Frequency to Suncrest Town Centre on the Purple line will increase. After evaluation of 59 drivers in 10 performance categories, the Authority is pleased to recognize Ron McCourt as Driver of the Month for February, 2025. We also wish to recognize Tom Jones, John Porter, Craig Wilfong, and Timothy Long . All of these employees are being recognized for their demonstrated driving skills, safety, public relations, assistance to fellow drivers and maintaining route schedules in the course of their daily performance.
