MOUNTAIN LINE VACCINATION TRANSPORTATION UPDATE
Morgantown, WV-
Mountain Line Transit Authority continues to coordinate with the Monongalia County Health Department and MECCA 911 to provide transportation to area COVID Vaccine Clinics for those passengers and community members who have pre-scheduled appointments for vaccinations. We encourage anyone with a vaccination appointment needing transportation to their vaccination destination to contact the Authority and pre-plan your trip by calling (304) 296-3680.
The Authority is also requesting volunteers interested in assisting with community transportation needs to contact us and register as a Volunteer Driver. The Authority will verify some basic driver and insurance information and will offer a mileage reimbursement of 56 cents per mile for qualified, pre-approved Volunteer Drivers. Anyone interested in assisting in this effort can call (304) 296-3680 to begin their registration process.

After evaluation of 59 drivers in 10 performance categories, the Authority is pleased to recognize Ron McCourt as Driver of the Month for February, 2025. We also wish to recognize Tom Jones, John Porter, Craig Wilfong, and Timothy Long . All of these employees are being recognized for their demonstrated driving skills, safety, public relations, assistance to fellow drivers and maintaining route schedules in the course of their daily performance.
